Taken from http://www.venganza.org :

The Flying Spaghetti Monster is not pasta, but a deity who chooses to represent Himself as pasta. If you like Pasta, go ahead and eat some. He doesn't mind, because the Sharing of the Pasta is a form of worship. Especially the sharing part. Transubstantiation is not part of Pastafarian doctrine. That means when you eat Pasta, you aren't eating Him, but eating Pasta.

UH...NO!! you have it SO backward! Please let me explain......... It is written by the profit Chef Boyardi that pasta should be eaten every day. This is done because during the ancient persecution of Pastafarians many people were starving and God turned all the lords of the area's bow ties into bow tie pasta and saved the pastsfarians from famine. Pastsfarians now continue this tradition today.

The original pastafarians were pirates in the old days. Check out the site below to get a full explanation of where this came from. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flying_Spaghetti_Monster
