But I have a problem with this, because it's a name.
The name of the place is "Lake Placid". I think it doesn't need to be translated.

Placid is the name of the lake, so you should´t translate that, lake means lago.
The lake is named placid because is calm, so the proper translation would be "lago tranquilo", tranquilo meaning peace full
