The symbology of Masonry is not a secret. The best source right now in bookstores is Freemasons for Dummies. It is really an outstanding book.

Masonic symbols are plastered all over the internet but most of the definitions are false.
For instance the pyramid on the dollar bill is not a Masonic symbol. And our symbols are not secret the Masons for dummys book could be a great help to you.

Freemasonry is basically a fraternal organization/lodge that does do some charity work. Mainly it gives their members a chance to get away from their wives and/or an opportunity to get drunk. Women can join an auxiliary group called the Eastern Star.
One of their symbols is that letter "G" with a square and level which stands for the "Grand Architect of the Universe," i.e. God.

You can contact the masons and ask them, they will tell you. They just don't go out and try to "spread the word" you have to express the interest
