We live in a apartment and they just got us a cheep new stove and if you barley touch the knob like when your reaching for a glass it starts to leak gas!!!!! And the thing that bites is I cannot smell my husband came home and was shocked by the smelll!!!

So I was wondering if the knob covers make it so they cannot move at all??

Sorry I didnot know what category to put this question in

Ask your landlord to get the safety knobs from the place that he bought the stove from. If he won't do it for you, invest in them yourself, it's worth the piece of mind. You can try these to see if they might work. Good luck....http://www.perfectlysafe.com/stoveknobs.html

No they do not, but you CAN have the knobs themselves adjusted so that they don't. Call your apartment manager and insist that the problem be fixed. It is outrageously dangerous.

You need to have them come back and fix it properly before some one gets hurt! (carb. poisining)
