Getting over the fact that my boyfriend had to move. I'm 18 and we both still live with our parents (I can't find a place and he is helping watch his siblings and home-school them.) and he moved away because his dad got a really good job. I really loved him. What can I do? I have known him and we have liked eachother for 6 years. HELP!!!

P.S. He moved 5 hours away, I have no car. I walk or ride my bike to college and work. 213 miles is too far. I dont have his email yet. He's coming to visit once a month.

P.S.S.
I asked if I could come with, but the answer was no, because I would have to pay for my food, and I'm in college here.

You are only 18....calm down now. He must be one heck of a responsible person helping his parents home-school his siblings. He will be very busy. Keep in touch through e-mails and IM...
I wished my hubby and I had this luxury when we were apart for six years. He moved back to Hawaii when I was 19 (I was in Germany)...we got together again after 6 years. If you guys are meant for each other....even occasional writing will suffice....we married after not seeing each other for six years.

People have distance relationships all the time. Doesn't mean it has to end. With the technology we have nowadays keeping in touch is easy. Not sure how it works in the states, but can you not meet occasionally? Are you not able to travel? Is the distance too far?

cant you talk to his dad and find out if you can move with them or go visit him and see if things can work out with you down there wherever he moved to. talk to your parents and see if they will take you down there to see him, that really sux, but maybe it just wasnt meant to be cuz everything happens for a reason. maybe you can get over him in due time. easier said than done huh? but just remember everything happens for a reason. god doesnt put anything on you unless he knows you have the strength to handle it. just hang in there and try your best to move on, if it was meant to be then you guys will end up together at the end.

its okay that you're not over him. considering that y'all didn't break up (I'm assuming), write long letters and make calls at certain times of the day. plus this will give y'all time to really connect and learn each other better. time will work this thing out. remember where your heart at and love him as much as you can. Good Luck and take your time!

Use the net and stay in touch. He sounds kind young. If he's old enough then he should move back to be close to you. If he's to young then wait or find someone else.
