ok.... so my mom's friend who lives in another state has a son and at first i liked him and we started talking.... he asked me out and now i think he is a bit way over obsessive. its been like 2 weeks now and he told me that he wanted at tell me he loved me.... and im just not someone to take somethin that fast.... school's going to start soon and theres a guy i really like.... i know im going want him more.... but i didnt think that the guy was going to be this seriouse..... how do i break up with him without breaking him also... I think that you should just tell him that you think he is a nice guy, and that you like him as ‘a friend’, but you are not ready to get involved in a serious relationship. Tell him that you would like to stay friends with him, but at the same time, you have your independence, and want to be able to spend time with any guy you like, without feeling you are committed to any one person!!!

The best thing to do is to just tell him you only want to be friends. There isn't really a way to break up without him getting even a little hurt. Just tell him that he is a nice guy and that he has a great personality but you don't think that you want to go out with him other than just being friends. It will be hard but if you don't like him that way then you have to let him know before he becomes even more attached.

This just happened to me this year too. You should never lead it on longer then you want because if you break up with him and he really likes you he'll be broken. I'm sure once his school starts he'll find another girl and since he lives in another state you probably don't see him that often anyway. So it's better just to break up him now and let him get over it. Good luck. Oh and about the whole I love you thing he doesn't really mean it he just thinks he has to say it because your his girlfriend. Don't say it if you don't mean it.

There's no way not to break him...be firm about it..tell him you are no longer interested in him and do not want him. Do not copout and use any of the cliches such as "Its not you its me." Just tell him that right now you just aren't attracted to him. Be honest and up front. If he pules and whines like some of us tend to at times you still need to be firm and stick to your guns. Do not leave any possibilities in his head about the two of you being together. This is the healthiest way for both of you. He will be heartbroke but he won't waste time thinking up ways to get you back and will be able to move on a lot sooner.

Tell him that you are not ready for a serious relationship yet. School is your priority. May be, just maybe, in the future, if you guys are done in school and still attracted to each other, ready for more mature relationship then why not give it a second shot. Long way to go, stay in school and that is your great ticket to everything.

ok girl iv been in this predicument (if thats how you spell that) anyway what to do: be like your a great guy when you get a girlfriend she"ll be lucky, right then say somthing like your like a big brother to me you know because hes so over obbsesive and just lead him down that your like a brother path i can really tell you what to say verbadm like word for word cause i dont know how he is but the like a brother thing worked for me i mean who likes there brother and i mean you can date other guys girl sometimes if people dont get it you have to move on for yourself because if you let down that guy that really likes you and you like him that would suck to miss out on the fun cause some other girl might snag him and you will end up being really mad at that over obbsesive guy. you know just try that brother thing. just tell him that things are going a little to fast for you and you don't know if your that in ti him or if you want to go that far with someone that fat and that you think that you need to take break because things are getting a little t series to fast

Just be straight with him......that's the best way. Tell him that you don't have any feelings for him. Guys can be kinda dense sometimes and don't always take hints. If you don't tell him he will think that maybe you still want him.

Well i have never had a b/f but all u can do is tell him the truth just tell him what u feel. And if you hurt his feelings then hes just got to except that it will happen again. Its going to happen to every or anyone.thats all u can do other than just hope he isnt as badly hurt as anyone else.
