I loved them when I was a kid. My mom was a housewife, as they were called then, and she cooked full meals everyday. But, on Fridays we got stuff like hamburgers or pigs in a blanket. They were the best.
I've passed it on to a new generation. My kids had to try them twice before they "got it". We use turkey burgers now, but they love them all the same...comfort food.

Pigs in a blanket are a wonderful snack, but there not just for the kids. I am 37 and still enjoy these tasty little treats. The best of all is introducing these delicacies to the youngsters that have never had them.
