So i slammed the door close pretty hard. and he yelled something (i forgot what it was) so i started walking to my front door and flipped him off. then he honked his horn like three times and flipped me off with both hands... his friend yelled 'hope you have fun walking home tomorrow'... so do you think he could have been mad at me?? i dont think so but i just wanted to know what you guys think...

i think he was joking...every guy knows that if you tell a girl she can't or she shouldn't...she will. its what we do. if he's serious, he's such a grouch.

It's hard to tell. My first reaction to it is that he wouldn't have made the comment about his door in the first place if he didn't want you to flirt. Which is exactly what he could have been doing in his own little weirdo way by honking, flipping you off, and yelling. But he also could have really been mad... which I personally think he deserves by being idiotic and caloused enough to demand money from you in the first place for slamming a dumb car door. Go take a bubble bath and eat some chocolate. It'll make you feel better until you can go to sleep and forget about all this til tomorrow! - Tomorrow is the only time you'll get your real answer anyway :)

Don't call him... that will make you seem desperate. Just say something when you see him in person tomorrow. Trust me on this one....

Pardon my language, but I think you're a ******* idiot.

*sigh*

First off... to men, vehicles are more than just transportation. They're a symbol of freedom manifested in aluminum, steel, plastic, and rubber. Have you ever taken in account how much time men spend washing, waxing, polishing their cars? Didn't think so.
By disrespecting his car AND his wishes, you've deliberately disrespected him. Need I say more?

Second, without hearing exactly what he said... you give him the finger. You went against his wishes and did the unnecessary... you responded to something you didn't understand or have an answer to. Scratch that, you didn't answer it... you reacted to it.

And, you have a crush on this guy?

Of course, his comment about the $5 could've been playful banter and a ploy to have something to talk about or to have you ride in his car again or something as simple as, "You owe me $5 but let's do lunch and I'll call us even." Thus opening the door for you two to hang out.
This does beg the question, was he smiling when he gave you the finger? If so, then he probably doesn't care about his car and was just having fun with you. So, in that event... you didn't piss him off and his friends comment was exactly that, a comment.

It might be time you learn the difference between being playful and being a *****. You'll be happier in the long run. And, so will the guys you interact with.

Guys are very picky about there cars, and you should never slam doors in the first place. I'm sure you were doing it to get his attention but it might of back fired on you. Give him a call and let him know you have his $5 and see if he can come by to pick it up and you can apologize.

Hmm.. I think it sounds like he is pretty pisst either that or he was joking in a very mean and imature way.
One question why did you slam the car door after he asked you not too? That was rude on your behalf don't you think?

I think yes, he is upset. Guys love their cars, and that's their thing. He asked you not to slam it, and you did.

Secondly, you flipped him off!

NOT good!

Call him, NOW, and apologize, and tell him you'll bring his five bucks to him tomorrow.

No offense, but surely you're kidding. :) You deliberately tried to upset him by doing exactly what he asked you not to do, then flipped him off when he objected. Now you won't be getting rides with him anymore, and surely won't be getting any dates.

Doesn't that sound upset to you? O_O
