,,,caring for my soul? Why do you try to place yourself between me and what I believe? Is it the lack of a label. If I spoke of "God" instead of "Love" would you feel better? If we can say "God is Love", then why can we not say "Love is God"?

I do not feel responsible for the condition of your soul.

Not in the least bit. Sure I'd love for you to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but that is a choice you have to make. If you choose it, I'd be glad to help you along your way.

I also watched the Passion of Christ, I saw only Romans,Jews, thief's and the High Priests of the Jews and the agonizing scene with Mary and a few of His followers, mostly women and one man. The word Christians was not used to describe the followers of Christ, until years later after Christ ascended into Heaven.

You are right to say GOD is Love, and love is God.

I believe you are the age of accountability, and no one but yourself will stand before the Throne of God and give an account of your life. So, yes you are in control of your soul and eternal destination. Jesus wants no one to perish, and we should likewise love.

Working out your faith or lack of it is between you and the creator. I do not conclude you are incompetent/or incapable for caring for your own soul.

There are those who have never heard the name Jesus,or even understand what He is all about,[given some questions & answers in this group] It is our responsibilty, as Christians to clarify or explain to the best of our knowledge how to come to Christ with His saving Grace. It is a free gift, no hard sell necessary, just the TRUTH, as we know to be true.

I guess, the real question is do you even believe in "spiritual" things. Do you believe in heaven or hell? Do you believe in Jesus Christ? On what authority do you believe? Do you believe what you believe because it sounds good or do you believe what you believe b/c you have studied the Bible and understand what being a follower of Christ is about? I guess, it could better be said, have you studied all the avenues of religion and searched for the truth. There are a lot of religions that claim to be truth, but what do they worship. Some worship Buddah, a small wooden idol. Some worship the Virgin Mary, she did a great thing, but she has no means to eternal security. Some worship a crazy religion that promotes peace but evidences destruction and hate. Christians or followers of Christ are concerned for those around them b/c as Christians, we know the state we were in before becoming followers of Christ. It wasn't good. Now we have hope and peace and love through Jesus Christ. He is alive. It isn't about me pushing my views on you, it is trying to show you what I have that you can not find any other place. The Bible says seek and you will find, knock and the door ill be opened to you. Seek out Christ Jesus. He is seeking you. By the way, You spiritual state is in your hands, its your decision. You will be the one spending eternity in Heaven or Hell. I already know where I am going. Read the book of John and Romans, it will change your life!

Nope, I don't feel responsible for your soul. You take care of your soul how ever you want, you have the right to. I'm not trying to come b/t you and your beliefs. I truly don't know if my rligion is right becasue no-one knows. I just have a feeling but I truly don't know. From the agnostic Christian. you can say Love is God. I don't have a problem with that at all. Stand up for what you believe in and ignore all others. "I may disapprove of your beliefs, but I defend to the death your right to believe in it."

We consider ourselves our brother's keepers. If one of our friends or children wer about to walk into a busy intersection we would have an obligation to let you know what could happen to you if you continue walking that way. Likewise if you could be open minded enough to at least listen and not judge poorly before the conversation was through, you might gain a different insight into Christianity.

I think you are missing the point

would you feel responsible to warn someone if you knew they were in a house that was on fire

would you wake them up, continue to harangue them if they said they were sleepy and didn't want to leave the house

you have to remember that many christians honestly feel that you are in mortal jeopardy and that they must do all they can to warn you and make sure you know you are warned

and also, christians don't believe God is love
they believe God is someone

We die from the shortcoming of information. God's plan isn't to damage us yet supply us wish a promise and an envisioned end. God gave us a spirit that has a soul and placed us in a body. For his glory. He stated as us guy. He made a woman body and a male body. yet we've a spirit guy in us all. we are equivalent. God refers to us as guy. The souls is the area of emotion and thoughts. The spirit is the state of mans courting to God. this is the section it really is resembling God. it isn't through our may nor our power yet through the spirit of God we stay and characteristic our being. contained in the body the playing cards will continuously be unfairly stacked hostile to us. God isn't continuously honest, yet he's purely. God deals with the spirit of fellows. we are to blame because we refuse to have fellowship with God. God says in case you do this, you'll receive the promise. we are saying no we desire what we desire. God makes it sparkling. we are saying no it isn't actual, you do not exist.

You are so right. God is love and love is God. God is all things. And why they can't stand to let you believe in, God if you choose to, your own way is a mystery. I'm confident your soul is just fine. And if they really believed in God, so would they!

Amen! I live my life as I feel is right for me and, if there comes a judgment day, I have no doubt that I'll be judged as a better person than a lot of Christians. Live and let live as long as you do no harm.

If you saw an elderly man on the street about to get robbed, would you jump in to help him? I would. If you were waiting for a bus in the rain and you were the only one with an umbrella, would you offer to share it? I would. That's known as compassion. I worry about the souls of everyone. I want everyone to enjoy eternal life. Does that make me an evil person? I'm not pushy about my beliefs, but I do like to share them with anyone who cares to listen. That's part of my beliefs. Jesus said to spread the Word of the Lord. I'm not trying to be mean - I'm simply following my beliefs.
