I do, but I can't find any in Brooklyn or Queens. Any idea where I can find some in NYC?

Nanaimo bars, for those of you who don't know what they are.. .are a brownie like (with coconut) bottom, with a custard layer followed by a chocolate top..... they are great. (although I agree with elazrath that they are best in small doses)... and Shiraz I believe I have the official Nanaimo recipe (I spent my time on the island, used to live in Port Hardy)... and they are popular all over Canada... but I'ved lived in NYC for about 3 years now and recently have been really craving them, but it's been too hot to spend any time in the kitchen making them myself... and I want some for my American buddies to try.

Hello from the city of Nanaimo, the birthplace of the bar. They're
pretty easy to make.

Not the official town recipe, we don't give that one to foreigners. LOL

They are popular in B.C., take a lot of time to make, are not cooked but refrigerated, Lots of chocolate and have a lot of calories in one bar.

They are okay in my opinion.
