Meditating is usually just a time of reflection. I meditate about my belief in God, and how I can improve my life so it reflects my belief. I try to picture Jesus while I sit quietly and think about the changes I need to make. Some people picture calm meadows and just sit quietly in reflection. Some people meditate to help them relax, so they don't really think about anything - they just picture something calming (a waterfall, the ocean, etc.). There isn't necessarily one way to meditate - everyone is different.

Everyone has their own ways to mediate. I like to be alone in a quiet place,Sing Praises to His name, play soft music, pray and then listen for the voice of God.or perhaps mediate on His word and ask the Holy Spirit to help you understand and bring a fresh meaning to the verses.

1- Start with a prayer. Short, but deep, try to concentrate in God.
your life, things that are happening to you right now.
2- Read the bible passage. Depends on you. Read it over and over.
if you are in God's presence, the answer will come right away.
3- Finish with a prayer. So that you'll live according to His will, and His holy word will remain in your heart.

Personally, I will think about the verse or verses or chapter for either a few minutes or a few weeks. It really depends on what you are trying to get out of which scripture you are reading!!!
