1. Pay attention
2. Have a folder for each class
3. Take notes
4. Be sure and write down assignments/homework
5. Keep up with reading assignments so you don't get
behind for a bad start in school
6. Don't hesitate to ask for help if you need it (either
from parents or teachers)
7. Keep hand-in papers neat
8. Make it fun by doing homework/extra credit work
with a friend (study together, not copy each others work).
9. You get good grades by knowing answers so you must
do your homework and read it over again until you know
and understand it....then it will be easier on tests.
10. Do your school work before Yahoo Answers
11. You'll be proud to show your parents your report card.

Ok start by labeling everything you write with the subject at the top, get an acordian file and label a section with each class you have. Everytime you hand in a paper and get it back graded put it in that section in the acordian file. Make folders for each subject you are taking and in those folders carry only the assignments due for that day or those you are working on, buy a planner and everyday for every subject in your planner write homework asignments and special projects that will help you keep track of what is due the next day and what is not. Good luck!

Well, if you don't already do this, get a separate folder or notebook for each subject you are taking. This will keep things from getting mixed up (i.e. your math homework in your science book and you accidentally leave it in your locker)

A small notebook or organizer specifically for the purpose of writing down your homework assignments for each night is a must.

Plan to make a run to your locker between your second to last class and your last class of the day so that you're not running for the bus at the last second and throwing things frantically in your bookbag.

At night, after you do your homework, double check your list and make sure you've done everything on it.

Hope that helps :)

I am really proud of you. Did you know that almost every mididle schooler has that same problem. They have never been taught how to organize and have to do it all at once for every class. The school systems in many areas are working to help kids with organizing. You got a lot of great suggestions. Keep trying one until you find one that you like.

color coordinate. That usually helped me. Purple for science, blue for math. ect. also I didnt try to OVER organize or overload myself. If I did then it would work for a while but I would end up even more unorganized after. also make sure at the end of the day take out important info or papers and set them where u can see them. like a sticky with class project due (add a date) also dont procrastinate.

I have no idea. I was never organized but I never really needed to be. my friend had a binder for each class... which I bet helps a lot. also just make sure your backpack is always clean...

organization always leads the better determination towards education. Lol, what i mean to say is that if you are well organized the better you study.

i would suggest getting one bider for each subject, and each of those binders have a section for old homework, one for hand outs, and one for notes. then you should also have a three hole punch binder clip in each binder. that way you don't get looseleaf papers.
