It's because that game a few years back when all the fans were throwing **** at the refs.
Ticket sales may drop but not only slightly. Cleveland is a football town and they love their Browns.

This happens at most sporting events anywhere in the US and Canada, due to a small number of nutbars seeking to spoil it for everyone else. Personally, I just stay home and watch a game on TV (I don't have to pay outrageous prices for snacks and beer, either).

Take it from a Steeler Fan who has attended games in Cleveland. All Cleveland fans act like criminals and escapees from mental hospitals. You reap what you sow.

It's like that everywhere. I've never been anywhere where my purse wasn't searched. It's nice to know that you'll be safe at an event, but at the same time it's kind of annoying.

I bet the sales aren't affected in the least. The sales will be more affected by the teams performance than security.
