It depends upon the state. Some places you can use the license the same day you get it while other states you need to get it up to 3 days before using it. See the chart linked below.

Call your County Clerk or Probate, or wherever you get a license. Most have recorded messages with info.
Alot of places have a 3 day waiting period after filing out an application. We don't have a waiting period, here. And some places still require a blood test. We don't need one of those, either.

The licenses are usually good for 30-60 days.
Again, it all depends on where you live' it's different from county to county.

It depends on where you're getting married. Some states require a waiting period and a blood test. You need to check with the local government.

My husband and I got married in Las Vegas and we had no waiting period and no blood test. Good thing about not having the blood test: my husband would have fainted when he saw the needle! lol

I got married in July. You have to get your marriage license within 30 days of getting married. So, if you buy it today, you have to get married within 30days, if not you have to buy a new one. But you could also get one the day of your wedding, that's what I did.

I would say a month be for you get married. that way you wont have to worry about it later good luck
