In 1995, after a series of secretive meetings, Jerry Falwell, a hypocritical member of the christian right, accepted a 3.5 million dollar donation from the Rev. Sun Myung Moon. This donation was gladly accepted to "save" Liberty University.

Here is one of MANY net links describing this very donation and their relationship. A pic is included-

Rev Moon, is the head of the moonie church. He believes he is the reincarnated Jesus Christ, claims Jesus failed because he didn't procreate, is a sexual pervert, believes America is the reaping of satan's harvest, and supports the Republican party. He is a major global arms dealer! HE ALSO CLAIMS HE IS THE MESSIAH!

Don't you think it's hypocritical for Jerry Falwell to accepted a donation from Rev Moon- a false preacher? OR is it just another example of how low some right wing televangelists will go to get their hands on more precious money?

I didn't post this question yesterday. And it happened, just like I said. Go google it! Why are people so defensive about multimillionire televangelists that take money from people claiming to be the messiah?

On the political front I asked or answered a question regarding the moral majority of which he was the head some years ago. I said they scare me because they had 60% of the vote and where's the separation of church and state when the pastor can ask you to vote for ....whoever the moral majority tells them.

I wouldn't put ANYTHING past that man! Maybe he's the antichrist! (just kidding)

definite, it somewhat is totally, very hypocritical. I think of presently Falwell is talking all approximately fake prophets and the top situations, and yet he is going and accepts donations from the very form of guy or woman he tells Christians to sidestep following. he's your conventional televangelist. maximum of them stay luxury existence and have a lot of money and infrequently donate to charity, in finished push aside for Jesus' certainly sayings, alongside with "it particularly is extra undemanding for a camel to pass interior the direction of the attention of a needle than for a wealthy guy to circulate into the dominion of heaven."

The article you provided when you posted this question yesterday was more of a one sided biased report and was full of things like "strongly suggests" terms.
Nothing conclusive

I am doubting it happened the way you want it to have happened.

I would have to hear both side before drawing a conclusion

Falwell and Moon are just religious conmen, why would you be surprised. Remember Jim and Tammy Baker. If you want religion, just read the bible for yourself, quit listening to phonies.

"When the bankruptcy trustee called in all the notes and put them up for sale, anyone could have bought them," Falwell said. "That was fortunate for us." [RT&WN, Feb. 6, 1995]

This pretty much sums it all up.

Bit of a conspiracy theorist aren't you?
