Why should they bother? There's not any money to be made in a cure!

Unfortunately, I don't think so as yet. I so feel your pain. I have had it all my life but manageable up until 3-5 years ago when it just got so much worse. Now, I have chronic sinusitis as well. I am not writing to complain. I am writing to connect with fellow sufferers for the purpose of finding things that work, talking about the latest research and treatments (inc. experimental stuff), finding good MDs in various parts of the U.S., and learning the best coping strategies for dealing with a chronic illness. The latest research DOES show that sinusitis (mainly caused by allergens) causes more pain and misery (decreased quality of life) than COPD, back pain, congestive heart failure and several other major illnesses! I was astonished (and in a way happy) with those results as it at least lays the groundwork for taking allergic rhinitis SERIOUSLY. I am sure, as you all are who suffer terribly, that people play it down all the time (especially hard if it is our loved ones who are doing it)
These posts can be very helpful and I urge you to please post what works for you and any other helpful info so we can all benefit from the vast amount of info out there!! Thanks!
