I have not been asked out in at least a year, and its not like I'm a freak or anything. I am tall (5ft9in) blond with blue eyes and weigh 150, so I'm not fat or pudgy or anything. I have a good job and make good money. I dont whine or cry or act like an idiot. Whats the problem? Guys wont even approach me! I'm in my 30's. Honest answers please!!

Being unstable isn't the same as being bipolar, it might also be signs of anxiety. I've been diagnosed with ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, and Emotionally Unstable (not bipolar) along with other possible issues like MDD. So I would know. It seems like you do have depression, and a distorted self-image (also been diagnosed with that, lol) I think you need to see a therapist, or even better, a psychiatrist. Self-harming, mood swings, and constant thought of the past is definetly signs of anxiety. Please seek a professional before you do something stupid. I would definitely like to ask you out....but I'm in a foreign country. I'm also in my mid-30's. maybe it's cause most guys fear successful women. I personally prefer that my girl has a career. I don't want a mom...I want an ambitious career woman with plans for the future. I'm having a hard time finding her...so I guess we're in the same boat. Hey what state are you in?

Perhaps you do not see yourself as others do. There must be something that is sending out a message to "Back off", or it could be a combination of things - where you live, where you work, what you do for recreation. Decide what it is you are looking for, then re-evaluate where you are and what you are doing. In this world, there is someone for everyone.
