crap shoot. I've seen stuff fall apart and there are stuff that lasts a long time.
I've had better luck with the office stuff not as much with home furniture.

My past experiences with them are good. The furniture is very sturdy and easy to put together. I have owned a couple of tables and my uncle has a bed frame and they all work out. I would have had some new IKEA furniture but in Colorado they don't have a physical store. But yeah they are good.

I believe it's made in Europe instead of China like most things, so it should be much more sturdy than most furniture.

It depends on the piece. I am really happy with the tables I bought there. I wouldn't purchase any of their beds, and only some of their chairs. Make sure you take a really good look at how it is built and what it is made out of before you buy it.
But if it does break, at least you didn't spend much money!

It's sturdy, but it' a PITA to put together, and the directions are not fabulous. It comes in a million tiny pieces (that's why it' o cheap -- it can be shipped in flat boxes.)

Yes it is sturdy. Compared to other put-together furniture it is sturdier. Compared to "real" furniture, it is not as sturdy. Unless you want to dance on top of it, it should be fine.

I do purchase from Ikea however I have had a problem here & ther. The good news is, they took care of the problem without an inconvenience to me & in a timely manner. I reccommend them. Good Luck!

We have a bed, desk, coffee table and bookshelves that are still going strong. A dresser and a wardrobe that bit the dust within a year.

Well, you basically assemble everything, so it kinda depends on how well you put it together. Look for wood or metal products, and avoid the plastic stuff, it can get bent and crush in!
