You really have to try beds out to find one that is comfortable for you - we are all different.

The bed in our guest room seems comfortable to me, but my visiting friend said it was too soft. Then my husband slept there when I had a bad cold and said it was too hard!

There is no one best bed for everyone. That being said, you usually get what you pay for - a cheap bed will not usually be as comfortable - and just as important, STAY as comfortable - as a more expensive one.

It's 1/3 of your life - make sure you get a bed that suits YOU!

The most popular brands remain Sealy, Serta, and Simmons.

Specialty products like Tempurpedic and Sleep Number are expensive, but are the best choice for people who can't find satisfaction with a standard bed.

Expect to pay 1000+ for a premium mattress set in Queen size, add 400 for a king size version.

Go with a place that offers a comfort reselection policy and make certain your salesperson is experienced and knowledgeable.

There are too many choices and too many body types to generalize. What is good and comfortable for your friend or mom is not necessarily going to work for you.

Man, I bought this Thomasville pillowtop mattress from a Thomasville Furniture outlet store in Hickory, NC and it is the most amazing bed I've ever slept on. It was $500.

I can tell you the best (stearns and foster)....I don't like that one from nasa ....temp???. My daughter has one. THE BEST BUY BY FAR IS FROM SAM'S CLUB ....THE BIG WALMART....FOR 500.00 YOU CAN BUY A QUEEN SIZE WITHOUT PILLOW TOP.....YOU DON'T NEED ONE......bought them for the farmhouse and everyone thinks they are the best!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you really want the pillow top it will cost you 100.00 more and most people don't like it as much as the other which also takes a less than deep corner on a sheet.
