Just because he says he likes your friend Courtney doesnt mean he is off limits to you...unless you know good and well that Courtney likes him. If your friend has already told you that she is into this guy, back off. Boys are not worth losing your friends over. There are plenty of guys out there. However, if she really isn't into him, then go for it. Just be careful...if he really DOES like her, then he may end up using you to try to get to her....which would make for an even more confusing situation. Sometimes it is best to just avoid these kinds of things. Use your brain on this one.

let him get to know courtney first. If you are as cool as you say you are, then it won't last long anyway. He might like the geeky shy thing because she is easier to talk to and doesn't have airs. you might think about that next time you are explaining how much prettier you are than your best friend.
