I’m trying to write the best possible paper, and I just want something that can help improve the writings of a college student. P.S. I write my papers in Microsoft words, it’s a great application but it wasn’t designed to improve a writing style.

So now you think that a computer program can improve writing style? I don't think so. You should get:

Word is the best option. If you are looking something more, the alternate is the DTP softwares like pagemaker, coraldraw etc
