It's usually just a marketing tactic. But personally, when I find a brand for shampoo/conditioner that I like, I use both shampoo and conditioner from that brand.

Ive hardly use the same brand of shampoo and conditioner. But they must put that on the back of the bottle for something. I'm sure theres good about using the same brand, but I dont see a reason why you can't use different shampoo and conditioner

I guess in some cases the shampoo/conditioner/etc. will work better if all the same brand with the same ingredients, but it also might just be a marketing tactic.

It's just a scam to buy more of their products. If you like their shampoo, then why not buy the conditioner?

Its better because sometimes they need the other thing for it to react and actually work. besides i dont know about you but when i use just shampoo my hair feels to squeaky or hard in a way and the conditioner gets it nice and soft

sometimes they say to get better results you should use the same product line because they are designed to work in tandem with eachother. but they could also be doing that for you to keep spending money on their product.

Depends on the brand. If you got the product for less than $12 then its probably just consumerism.

it raelly is better because they use some of the same chemicals and ingredients and they all work together...if you use different products...then in a way it kinda confuses your hair...but not totally dont worry...i dont use all the same branded products and my hair is just fine...so good luck
