Isn't limoncello made with pure grain alchohol or vodka? If so ... you can keep it forever.

Depends on what you used to make it and ultimately how much (if at all) you diluted it in the end.

If you use vodka with 40% alcohol or more (or pure grain alcohol at 75-95%) and left it as-is, then it'll keep indefinitely. Alcohol is a right nifty preservative. If you cut it with water, as long as it's above about 20% alcohol, it should keep well for a few years...much longer if you keep it in the freezer. Below 20% is a crapshoot, not to mention, likely to freeze in the freezer.
