for some people having their daughter get pregnant would mean a big doctor bill that they dont really wanna pay or help pay for, especially if the girl is underage. For a guy to get a girl prego is not the same because the guy can generally just run off with no responsibility to that child unless the mother goes after him.

I would be upset with both.Your friends is making a different because the girl come home with the baby and they would have to help take care of that baby.I feel it a man thing when a boy get a girl pregnant. When they should look at it like it was there daughter who got pregnant. That sad because my son would have to get a job to support that child and not only that but give that girl a break from that baby.It took two to lay down and take two to take care of that baby. That will make that boy think. If girl have something to think about, why not the boy. That why we have so many dead beat dad today.Parents are not making our son responsible.Let your friends read this.

I got pregnant at 17. My parents were horrified and almost made me have an abortion. They didnt come around until my daughter was born and they regretted ever feeling that way. I would be dissapointed in my daughter if she came home pregnant (mainly because having it happen to me she knows how much we struggled at first and I promised myself I will have an open and honest realtionship with my kids when it comes to sex and drugs) but I would help her out in any way I could and support her decisions. She'd be carrying my grandchild!!! Once they are pregnant whats the point of getting mad and angry. Its already been done all you can do is look to the future.
I'd feel the same way if it was my son who got a girl pregnant. I would hope that I raise him to be the kind of man who will take care of his responsibilities. I would also want time with my grandchild. My kids paternal grandparents haven't seen my daughter in 2 years and have never seen my son not because I dont make an effort but because they dont care.

Well my son did get his g/f pregnant and I was very upset with him and her. I don't give double standards it is both of their problems now! It is just harder for the girl because it is her body, but then again my son had no say so if she wanted to keep the baby or have an abortion...anyway daughter or son I would be mad.

If i had a daughter i would be dissappointed, not mad. Everyone makes mistakes. I have a son and i tell him all the time about being responsible when it comes to sex he is 14 yrs. I have been telling him this from an early age. I don't believe in having double standards, because my mom did and i couldn't stand it.

kinda one of those "same but different" issues. i've got two boys and it depends on the situation. i don't want some guy calling me up pissed off saying your son got my daughter pregnant. can i answer that with no your daughter let my son get her pregnant. its always the who's to blame rather than the how are we gonna take care of this now. mine are still young, but i've seen it as a teenager as i'm sure you have

i don't think you should be upset if the damage was done than you'll just have to roll with the punches because if you stay mad at her and she doesn't communicate with you she may think that you won't be there for her as moral support if you push her away she just might leave with the guy .even with your son but guys act more differently to the situation i don't think getting stress out about is going to do anything if there well enough to lay down they can take responsible of there actions.

I think i would be a little saddened in both cases but once the baby came i would be overjoyed by my grandchild. I came home knocked up at 15 and my parents were a little disapointed but they supported my desion to keep the baby and 11 years later they wouldn't change a thing and nethier would I!!!

If the son gets a girl pregnant, the parents won't get that upset because it's her parents that have to deal with it not them, you know...boys will be boys. But if it's their own unwed daughter, their precious baby girl that's suppose to be so pure and innocent, they tend to be more upset about it. It's not easy being a girl. Men get away with everything alot more easier then us women do. "NOT FAIR"

I have 3 teenage boys, and I would be highly upset. I don't see a difference, because even if the girl is the one that gets pregnant, they are both responsible.
