Why do you think someone else wants to deal with your problem dog? There are plenty of nice tempered dogs available.

Ranch is not the best idea unless it is a rehab ranch for dogs. Farmers/Ranchers make their living with animals & an aggressive dog is not something anyone wants.

I guess my question is why have you not tried training your dog? That might be easier than trying to pawn your problem dog off onto someone else. Pits are very intelligent and can be broken of their tendency of other animal aggression.

Giving this dog to a shelter is a death sentence. More Pit Bulls are put down than any other breed.

Someone has already suggested the Dog Whisperer & that is a wonderful idea. He can really help you with your dog & learning how to alter your dog's poor behavior.

Pit Bulls are strong, dominant dogs. They are not right for everyone; but I guess you are just figuring this out.

I hardly think sending it to a ranch will work. If he isn't friendly with other dogs he certainly is not going to be friendly with other animals.

This is a behavior that needs to be corrected. My advise is contact a good trainer to fix the problem or have him put to sleep.

If you give him away you are transferring the problem somewhere else. Or at least be sure to advise the new owner he has some serious behavior problems.

Is this dog only dog aggressive? Or is it people aggressive as well? Check into a pitt rescue in your area, they should be able to help you out.

HE IS PROBLY A REAL PIT BULL AND NOT A PET BULL AND HE WAS BORN TO BE THE WAY HE IS THAT IS WHAT MAKES THEM A PIT BULL
THERE NOT TRAINED TO FIGHT THE FIGHTER ARE BORN TO FIGHT,PUT HIM DOWN OR GIVE HIM TO A SMARTER CARE GIVER THAT WILL NOT ALLOW HIM TO BE AROUND OTHER DOGS EVER
