How soon is too soon to ask somone out?

I've met this person online about 4 days ago and I'm really digging on em and though I'd invite them to coffee or something but I don't wanna come across as creepy or desperate, I just would genuinly like to meet this woman and see where it goes. Any ideas???

How can I tell without directly asking her if she's interested? I mean we email on myspace back and forth probly once or twice a day so far, there not long as hell but most are decently sized. She said she's kinda in a dry spell and hasn't met anyone really, so I dunno If I'd put her off of me by asking her. Any further advice?

Well maybe you could just go with the whole 'baby' step approach. You met him online. No need to start off asking him out on a date. Ask him if maybe he'd just like to hang out in some sort of casual setting with you. Or before that, maybe phone? Things may very well progress naturally from there.

I think 4 days ago is a little soon, since this is an online relationship. I'd give it at least a few weeks, then ask her if she'd like to meet you somewhere for coffee, and let her suggest the location.

I met my sweetie on line here at answers. We really hit it off. He asked for my number and called me. It was even better on the phone. For some reason he did not suggest a meeting. I took matter into my own hands and made the arrangements for us to meet. He was really excited and happy about that. It turns out he wanted to meet me, but wasn't sure how to suggest it and plan it.

You have a great idea with meeting for coffee. Plan something short with little pressure. Give her plenty of room to set her schedule and get out quickly if she panics.

I was the one who panicked at our meeting. He was just himself and was able to talk to me and calm me down. I left info with my grown daughter where we were and also his name and address for safety sake, but I was never in danger from him - just my heart. It was funny, but my daughter callled every hour to make sure I was OK. He even thought it was nice of her to be worried about me. Suggest this to the lady when you ask her to meet. Tell her to have a friend call and check on her. She will feel safer, and will respect you more for being so caring about her.

After the coffee suggest a nice walk in a park. You will not be a big threat to her if you are in a public park in daylight hours. There will be lots of other people around, but not close enough to stop the two of you from having a nice conversation. Keep the date to about two hours total, unless you both agree to staying longer.

Ask her it won't come off desperate if you know how to do it correctly. It's worth the risk too because a girl usually subconsciously decides if she wants to go out with the guy that she met.

It's only too soon, if you haven't ever met them before.. after 4 minutes if you play your cards right, is a perfect time.

Have you spent every waking moment wanting to know more about this person? Does your face ache from smiling since you started to converse with them? Do you know yourself better because of them? Do you know enough about them to know that you could lay on wet grass all night, just talking, and watch the sunrise with them and die happy?...

well usually wait around a week i norally wait 1week and 4days
that is right in the middle well thats my lucky number it works everytime....
