All of these aircraft will eventually be replaced by more advanced aircraft, just as they replaced their predecessors. The AV-8, F-14, F-16, and F-18 are being replaced by the F-35 varients, the F-15 by the F-22. There is no proposed replacement for the B-1B, but there is a proposed upgrade program to enhance their capabilities like the B-52's were upgraded, thereby extending their service life.

The future is dependent upon our government, but like all airfcraft, they are eventially phased out. The Tomcat is moving closer and closer to this. The future will be a bone yard... rotting. Or sold to a forein country.
