You're 17. Don't you think throwing in the towel 'now' just when life is about to begin for you is a little premature? Everyone gets rejected. Everyone has relationships where they get burned. Everyone you ever see with be wrong for you until you find 'the one'. Once you find her you'll be very happy you didn't give up, if you don't give up. It may seem bleak now, but keep trying.

I have a 16 year old son who is a junior. Dont ever think of giving up on love! Cuz once u find it- its awesome! We live in a town with only 811 people! very few girls! lol Sometimes love is right under your nose and u dont even know it! Why not give some of these girls who r looking your way a chance? In highschool my best friends brother kept asking me out and I always told him no no no no no. I mean thats tabu right? I finally told him it was cuz he had long hair! Next day he came to school with short hair! I HAD to go out with him then! Alls I can say is I NEVER EVER looked at him that way- romantically- not at all! But when he kissed me good night! WOW! Thats all it took! we have been married 20 years now!!!!! Give some of them the chance to show u who they really r on the inside! U might be surprised!

Things are pretty shallow at age 17. Girls just want to have fun and crushes are what girls get on guys. "Love" just doesn't happen at 17 or maybe even into twenties. It happens after a lot of time is spent with someone and after you find you have a lot in common that isn't going to take a hike in six months. Now you know that the word is "lust" when you expect something to "happen." It ain't love until it grows into that higher plane.
You are looking for some kind of proof that you can score when you want to. Girls probably sense that and get wary of that kind of guy. Stop looking and things happen. That is because you aren't transmitting messages all day, "Hey, babe, your dream stud is standing here. Wanna hammer a stud?" Think Bud Bundy when you want to radar your intentions and you might remind yourself to chill.

Someone is out there, just don't give up on love, i know how u feel, i want to also, but somehow, i have something in the back of my head saying:"You'll find someone someday". Sounds to me like u need that little voice. Well, hope i helped a little. GooD LucK

you are only 17 a teenager and don't ever give up on love. You still have a lot of living to do. Love will find a way to your heart it just takes time. Be patient. Remember it is a virtue.

Yeah, give up for a little while and concentrate on your education and learning how to provide for yourself and a wife and family in the future.
Learn how to get along with girls instead of thinking you have to be in love or that you have to be in a relationship right now.

Give yourself time. What is it that you want to happen at 17 years old? You have your whole life ahead of you. Make a plan, follow your dreams and a lot of good things will happen.

wait til you are 30, then give up. I am 26 now, and have had lots of unrequited love, but I keep hoping "she" is out there for me. I have lots of great things in life, but I would trade it all for the right girl. That is the only thing missing in my life right now, and I am near desperation. It hurts too bad to be alone, and you cant give up yet. I am as hopeless as it gets, but I do my best to keep hope alive.

Make a move, most gals, unless you have REALLY good looks, like me, or you have a reputation for being attractive, aren't gonna make a move on you, so learn how to make the first move, but do it with confidence, because nothing is more attractive (from 90% of a womans perspective) than a confident guy, except for maybe, confident AND funny guy.
