All depends on the situation. If you like a guy enough, women in 2006 have the full right to ask out a guy. Give a guy the opportunity to ask you out, if he is nervous or what not, do it yourself.

It doesn't matter.
Back in the day it was considered a no-no for a girl to be that bold and ask a guy out on a date. But this isn't the day of Lassie anymore!
Sometimes the only way for a girl to get a date is to do the asking!

My son is 16 years old! I say thank god its 2006 and its ok for girls to ask the guys! My son says its nice when they do! He says guys get just as nervous asking out a girl as you do! They hate rejection just as much! So sure- go ahead- ask him! This way he knows for sure u like him! Good luck to u!

now it doesnt look bad if a girl asks a guy out. i think both ways is fine. and mostly if u like the guy then take the initiative and ask him out!

I think that either one can do it. I've asked guys out before, a lot of guys like that the women takes the initiative

either but a lot of guys do like being asked out sometimes too now! it shouldn't matter though if you like someone go for it
