I am going in for a DNC i am three months along should i do a dnc or should i take the pill that helps pass the baby we want to try again right away what would be the fastest recovery and best thing for my insides please all info would help its today at 4:00 please help please

I don't know about recovery time. When i got my DNC they told me to wait three months before I tried again. I waited about 2 & 3/4 lol. As for which is better for your insides. My doc told me that he wanted me to have a DNC so he could make sure I didn't hemorrage. I have heard that passing the baby is very painful as well. But I have never experienced it. So really it is your judgement call. Good luck and I hope this helps.

Whatever you doctor recommends. I would say have the DNC because even with the pill they give you there could still be things that are not expelled and you would have to have the DNC anyway. Plus the pill make it very painful and can be traumatic.

I lost a baby early on in pregnancy, and I had a DNC... there was no pain whatsoever, and I had no complications! I had no pain, bleeding was ever so light, and no cramps... I did take a pill to help loosen the vaginal walls which made it easier for the DNC procedure!

I've heard it told that dnc is not always nessacary, painful and detrimental. The body will naturally clean itself and nature taking course on it's own is always the best.
My opinion. I'm just a student but I say let your body do naturally what it will and avoid unneeded pain. Sometimes being too clean is more detrimental to health than a litte "dirt", get my drift? If you put a baby in a buble and don't expose them, they are weak and sickly. So it's okay to take time. All will happen when the time is right and it may be makeing room and strengthinging your body for the next pregnancy ok?

Sorry for your loss!! I had a dnc in jan 9, 2004. i got pregnant with our 18 month old on may 5, 2005. it doesn't hurt and it cleans you out. Good Luck!!

The DNC would be the best way to go. You will be able to try to get pregnant faster.

You are better off having a d&c...it will make sure that all the old tissue is out of your uterus...its better than the pill because there is no waiting to see if the pill works, and its taken care of right away. The d&c cleans out all the fetus and "freshens" (for lack of a better word) the uterus, and makes it more hospitable for a pregnancy. I had a blighted ovum, and my ob said that I would get pregnant quicker after the d&c rather than wait for it to pass

when i miscarried i had a dnc and got pregnant soon after but i honestly don't know what would be best. everyone is different so your dr should be able to give the best advice for you
