If they come here legally, yes. My ancestors had to have a full background check medically and personally.

ALL Immigrants Fom ALL Nations
Are Required To Be Screened
For Communicable Diseases
BEFORE Entering The Nation

This Is ONE Of The BIGGEST Issues
Regarding The ILLEGAL Aliens
That Are Crossing Our Borders Every Day

We have disastrous diseases
that are bankrupting our hospitals
(86 hospitals in California declared bankruptcy
in the last two years).
--Tuberculosis
(which claims two-million people a year now,
and was virtually wiped out
before the Mexican/Latino invasion),
--Chagas Disease
(known as the "Kiss of Death," kills 50,000 annually),
--Hepatitis A and B
(there have been 100,000 reported cases
passed on by illegal workers/carriers
in the food industry in the last couple of years),
--Leprosy
(also virtually unknown in the United States
exceeded 7,000 new cases) .
--Malaria (which had been obliterated), --West Nile Virus,
--E-coli intestinal parasites.
And the new and exciting Morgellons

Although These Diseases Are Reported Nationwide
There Are CONCENTRATIONS Of Reports
Along The US / Mexico Border
Where There Is A Majority
Of Latin American ILLEGAL ALIENS Residing

Yes very true ... a full medical and immunization, if you can't find previous immunization records, test for TB and HIV, plus a whole host of other diseases, a full background check for illegal activities in their homeland and/or the USA, and a check for financial eligibility, e.g. proof that you or your sponsor have enough means to support you, so you don't become a burden on the tax payer .... in other words, ALL the things illegals don't do .... :(

We have excellent immigration laws, too bad they're not enforced .........

Yes. All Legal Immigrants have health checks and are tested for communicable diseases.

And Illegals do not have any such examinations.

They are speading diseases they come into the country with.

It's not just legal immigrants. have you tried donating blood lately? You get asked the same questions, and even more embarassing ones too, like "Have you had sex with a member of the same sex for money in the last year?" I mean, C'MON!!! Don't feel like you're being singled out.

They should make every country do that so Americans get tested when they immigrate abroad.

Yes. You have to go to the approved clinic and be tested for variety of diseases. It becomes part of the "petition" for your status adjustment.

Lets hope so! Aids, Hep, and many other diseases are rampant in third world countries. They don't inoculate their children like we and other modern civilizations do.
