i used something like eucylyptus oil and lavender to get rid of head lice before, but i cant remember

Mayonnaise. It can be left on the hair overnight then wash the hair with DAWN dish washing detergent to cut the grease. Use a mixture of Lysol (the liquid kind that you use on floors NOT THE SPRAY) mixed with water in a spray bottle to spray everything else with. Wash sheets in hot water and add some Lysol to the wash.

Wash hair with water as hot as you can take it! That helps kill existing lice that have hatched, but I'm not sure about the eggs.
Umm, washing your hair more often helps because some of the ones crawling around will be sent down the drain if you comb at the same time...
I don't think you can get rid of the infestation though. The kits are your best bet - with the lice-killing shampoo and everything.

Shaving your head is a natural way to get rid of it.

maynase i hurd works but allso you can try putting lots of babyoil on your head and then get a palstic bag and keep part of your head covered overnight it suffercates them but its not as good as medicines but it may take 2 to 3 times

the only thing i can say is shave your head. your hair will always grow back. so until then buy a wig or something to wear if you're not comfortable bald.
