I read through and spell check, as I like my answers to come across exactly as I intend them to. How about you? No judgement, just taking a poll here. :)

As I am not a native English speaker... I use this as practice. I never use the spell check botton. Not even when I answer in my own language. I do proof read. And all the time I find out I have many mistakes. Then I edit my answers. I read again... and I find another mistake... and edit. I tend to find many typos.
My intyention is that native speakers don't notice I am not a native speaker. Maybe some day.. maybe...

First I spell check to catch any typos. Then I preview, and read it through for words spelled correctly, but not used correctly. There vs their vs they're for example. Then I submit and read it again just in case I missed something.

I read through and use my spell check. Sometimes you have the word spelled right, but it makes absolutely no sense the way you are using it.

I'll admit I don't spell check. I do proof read. Usually I spell fairly well, so I don't go the extra yard. Remember that some folks misspell words on purpose.

I read it myself. Spell check is time consuming. And after submitting my answer, I read it again in case I missed something. Edit button works too :)

I do exactly as you. Most of my answers are revised before I submit them. I like to proof read what I have written for both proper use of the language and for the quality of what I am saying. There is no point of answering a question, assuming that it is a serious one, if you can't contribute something of value.

After submitting my answer I decided to return to add something. This question was asked seven minutes ago and I am the first responder. If the question had been "why do u hope yur girlfrend has a hot sister" it would already have ten answers. And everyone one incoherent. :)

I always spell check. If I didn't no one would be able to read what I said, not that they do anyway.

I rated this as a good question, because I often wonder why more people do not use it and obviously do not read through their questions and answers before they submit them. I always do for the same reason you do.
