Depends: if it is unsolicited advice, then no. If I ask their opinions, I value what they have to say.

Sometimes. No one agrees with their parents all the time, no matter how young or old you may be. Our parents aren't perfect, and they make mistakes. So when we know they're wrong, it's even harder to respect them, but we have to. But even when they're right, we don't like to hear what they say sometimes. But as you get older, you appreciate most of what they said and are saying, because it's for your own good.

I find that the older that I get (I'm 50 now), the more I appreciate the wisdom of what my parents say, both now and in the past.

Sometimes it use to bother me (when I was a teenager/young adult)... as time passed I realized how foolish I was not to heed their words... they knew what they were talking about 98% of the time. Remember your parents were young once too.
