on that site there is a form i have to fill out.
the part i am confused about is the personal allowances worksheet at the top. would i put 0, 1, or 2?
i am 17 and this is my first job and my parents still pay my taxes? so if anyone knows could you please help!

In Block A and B, you'd put 0. This means your parents are going to claim you on their tax return, so when you file your tax return in 2007 (for the money you made in 2006) you will not be receiving your personal deduction. This form tells your employer how much money to withhold for state income taxes.

Its safest to claim 0 exemptions. This results in the maximum withholding amount. If you parents could not claim you as a dependent, you could claim 1.
Either way, you parents don't pay your taxes, you do. That's why you have to file out tax withholding forms.
