that's actual a reflex action. they are not extremely attempting to scratch their abdomen too, yet that's type of what triggers it. have self assurance it or not, wolves do it too (i have considered it take position at a captive wolf study facility.) I ignore what the call of the reflex is, midline reflex or center line reflex or something like that. My dogs actual chews on his the front legs more beneficial frequently than kicking his rear leg, notwithstanding that's a similar difficulty. that's involuntary.

It is there tickle or sensitive spot. Or mine when she is having real problems with her skin allergies, I can scratch her almost anywhere and she does it....it is just a skin sensitivity that they have.

I have the issue too with my dog. I'm guessing they find it relaxing. My dog seems to love it.

All dogs do this.. it is their ticklish spot..some love it, and some hate it..just like people..
