First time I've ever heard of it. I've been to the website:

.... and found it well worth investigating, particularly given that Rick Warren is associated with the ministry. Thanks for the tip-off.

I have not.

Personally, it sounds like another way for people to scapegoat their issues. Neither God nor the Devil forces anyone to drink excessively, masturbate excessively or use drugs excessively. I beleive that if people learned how to take responsibility for their own actions and looked within themselves, they would understand why they drink/use drugs/porn, and would be able to figure out their own solutions. Im really tired of those ads on TV with a message saying "addiction is a disease! Its not your fault!" BS. It is your fault. You do not need a crutch to get through life - and replacing a crutch such as DRINKING with RELIGION is still using a crutch....

Sorry. I know that will offfend you, but it is not intended to. Just my beleifs. And yes, I used to be an alcoholic... I am no longer. I simply recognized that I was from an alcoholic family, and that this was how I learned to cope with issues. So I stopped. I dont drink anymore, except for maybe on special occassions, and I only have one or two max (cheap date!), maybe three times a year.

Yes it is for people who are addicted to, well, pretty much anything. I heard it helps out a bunch. My Church does it every now and again. They help people who are addicted to porn, alcohol, drugs, etc...
If you or somebody you know has problems, I definitely would tell you or them to go.
