I would look into the path - its not so popular, but it is an attraction. Its many miles of underground passageways that include shops that takes you around downtown. If you are into walking and are staying in a hotel downtown it might be a better way for getting place to place too. In January, you won't visit the sky dome. You might see it, but what ppl are not saying is that its not really open - at least not for the Blue Jays. The Air Canada Centre for the Maple Leafs will be booming though. The CN tower is quite interesting and highly recommended. You will never see a view the same. Other interesting places to visit in Jan would be Eaton Centre at Yonge + Dundas, then one street over would be Queen West, which by walking West you go past city hall, then into the other shopping area. If you walk down Dundas instead of Queen (towards the West that is) you can see Chinatown. Video confessionals at Speakers corner (Much Music) at Queen and John are a must for Toronto visitors. You never know if you make it on TV.

Wow January pack WARM! Honestly there is not much to see in January except for the usual things like the CN Tower, a trip to the Falls, Eaton Center, Plays and things like that. Really, thats all there is to do in Toronto during the summer too...

Why would you want to go to T.O. in January.? It is usually the coldest month. I would suggest indoor places, of which there are lots. C.N. Tower, R.O.M. , The A.G.O. ,Science Centre ,Imax Theatre. The summer months are a much better time to visit. Lots happening then. Beaches Jazz Festival, Taste of The Danforth, Tast of Little India, C.N.E., Busker Festival, Children's International Milk Festival, well you get the idea

Spadina (China town) is always interesting. The food is great and the price quite low. It is probably one of the most cultured areas of Toronto. Check out the food court at the mall south of Dragon City.

Why would you want to go there? Toronto is the rudest dirtiest city in Canada even at the best of times. Now in Jan you should come to Vancouver or Victoria. great time to visit.

Infact Vancouver never made the poll list. Because it is not even a city. It is actually only a sewer processing site for Alberta!
