You bring up a good point................

NONE of Mexico belongs to Mexicans, they had to have stolen it from some prior tenant....

but of course, they don't want to live by any rules or respect any borders. They just want to be nomadic and pilliage their neighbors.

Well from the way I see it from history American didn't steal the land from Mexico. Mexico sign a treaty that gave up the land that the American conquer. It is not consider stealing when it cost something in return (5,800 Americans were killed or wounded in battle, and The enormous financial cost, estimated at more than $75 million). So this is not stealing. As of right now the Mexican are trying to steal it from us. So all you Mexican who think that the American stole this land I think you better check out the treaty (Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo) that your leader sign.

Remember the Alamo (1836)...It was the Spainish/Mexican that invaded Texas, which in 1823 the Mexican sold Texas to the American. The Mexican government wanted more land then so they went to war with the US And lost big time. THe actual war Offically started in 1846

Mexicans didn't steal land from the indians because the spaniards intermixed with the indians on a large scale. Unlike the US settlers which didn't mix with the native indians they encountered. Some spaniards took some gold back but alot of them stayed in the latin american regions and intermixed. The spaniards brought diseases but only an intentional conquest was done by british/french people in north america. The British/ American made lots of reservations for the indians they conquered instead of mixing with them, so you can see how the US is a stolen land and latin america has immigrants from primarily southern Europe.

well it's complicated....

the Aztecs, Olmecs, and the Mayans were indigenous and therefore native Americans from Mexico....

The Spaniards conquered and lived in that land for years ..

Spanish+native people=Mestizo

Mestizo's then revolted against the Spanish and it became a Nation.... The same happened when France took over...

Mexicans didn't steal land, they gained independence...

It's because of independence and wars for independence that Mexico had trouble recovering economically...

The Spanish conquered Mexico, and some of the present US territories, they interbred a lot with the natives, so Mexicans are descendants of both, on the other hand, interbreeding with native Americans (Indians) was very limited in the USA

The Spanish stole the land from the Indians of that area, then the did a little kissing with them, and " BOOM " you got Mexicans.,

gerrygollw - We did not steal their land, we beat the living poop out of Mexico in a war, and then under a treaty we bought the land. We had the chance to annex their entire government and take what ever we wanted, but we showed Mercy.

The mexicans didn't steal the land from anyone they actually lived on it with the Indians!!! It was the Europeans who came over here & decided to start killing for land that wasn't there. They could've actually lerned a thing or two from the Mexicans & Indians on how to live on the land together

NO ONE. The SPANISH stole the land from the Natives, like the Europeans.

Look, get over it. As an American, people are gonna hate you. You can decide to debate these stupid things or you can debate more pressing matters like...What the f*ck is wrong w/Mexico. Why are so many of its people ESCAPING!!!!!!! Maybe the US should pressure the Mexican gov. to be more pro active in solving its joblessness, education, and other problems instead of allowing them to flow onto your borders.

The Lands weren't Lands in disput, the Lands already had an owner, and the owner was the Mexican government. which was recognized by the US gov. as an independent gov. They were greedy then they invaded Mexico with Us army and forced to sell and sign a document to make it a "legitimize sale" (for a ridiculous amount of money) but Mexican gov really didn't want to sell. That way they say stolen.

Mexican didn't invade Texas it was their legitimize territory. Santana sign for its liberty but he was a war prisoner and that why Mexico don't recognize his sign.
