I don't want them to know I've noiced it and with out calling PD. I want to find out who it is, but can't get near enough to get the lic plate #

Seriously though, speed up. If they speed up, turn a corner quickly, if they turn the corner, turn another corner. If they keep following you, turn them into the nearest police station

I would pull into a police station if there is one near by. If not I would pull into a well lit place with people around. If the care follows you then take the license plate number and call the police. I definitely would not go home.

Keep driving around the block. What ever you do, do not go to your house. Drive to a well lit populated area. If you feel threatened just get as good of a description of the vehicle and any numbers off the plate will help.

If you are not fearful of being harmed by them, drive down a long street that ends in a cul-de-sac. You will get close enough to see them side-by-side. Or drive to a convenience store, or some other well populated and well lit retail site. Stop and go in, then peek outside.

Don't be a hero on this one. If you think you are being followed, I'm pretty sure the follower is up to no good. Drive straight to the police station... I bet they don't follow you in there.

Call a friend to ask where the nearest police department is, then take the shortest route to there. They might stop following you at that point.

but honestly if it's frequent, and that's why you're asking, I would recommend pepper spray, a cell phone, and YES calling the police.

I suggest you buy a gun. Be sure to take the proper safety and operation classes and follow the proper procedures to get a conceal and carry permit. If you live in a liberal state then I'm sorry but you have no right to protect yourself and according to your state deserve to be raped and murdered.

I turn off into a public place with lots of people around where if they try anything funky there are a lot of witnesses
