Don't these goobers realize that self-medicating, taking drugs, especially antibiotics that were "left over" or were "mom's" is totally stupid and EXTREMELY dangerous????????????

Yeah, people are stupid. And they're the first to point the finger when they get terribly ill from taking the medication that was not prescibed to them...

It's also a violation of federal law.
If you have to take a urinalysis and are found with prescription drugs in your system that were not prescribed to you or, even if they are an old prescription of yours that you have some left over and are using them that still counts as a drug abuse charge.
It's also illegal to give someone your prescription medication.......drug trafficking, you know.

this is the reason bugs mutate and antibiotics are not as effective. You shouldn't be self diagnosing.Taking other pills can be like suicie if taken without knowing what you are doing. YAY! for mentioning this problem.

It is very very dangerous to mess with drugs that are not specifically prescribed for you.
Unfortunately our Accident and Emergency departments are full of the results , not all fatal ,but with very nasty and painful side effects and consequences;
