As a Dad, I can tell you that it's Ok if you feel better talking to your Mom. Maybe she is more understanding, or maybe it's just that you feel more comfortable with her. Sometimes, like you say, you feel better with your Dad. In any case, I am sure they both love you and there is NOTHING bad with feeling better talking to one parent than the other. The important thing is that you communicate with your parents and they with you.

It's not a bad thing at all! It's actually a very good thing!
Both of my parents have passed away - my mom when I was 18 and my dad when I was 28. I was lucky (and so are you) because I felt perfectly comfortable talking to either parent about anything. Well, obviously mom was in charge of the "girlie stuff." lol I went to my dad with a lot of stuff though. I was always a daddy's girl, you know? And obviously, I wound up closer to him, since I got 10 extra years with him.
The point is - it's a very good thing, sweetie. Hang on to it. :)

No its not, at least you are comfortable with talking to one of your parents. Realizing this, most parents will discuss what you have brought up. later that day. There are times when my daughter feels more comfortable about a situation and talks to her step-dad before me, and visa versa. She knows 99% of the time we will discuss the problem with each other. Occasionally she will say "Please don't tell the other" and as long as its not something that could affect her or us we usually don't discuss it

I could always talk to my mom and my dad was a little harder. Now I can talk to him. It's not bad.
