Your in the center of a room. At each end of the room there is a door. There is one guy guarding each of these doors. One guy always tells the truth no matter what. The other always lies no matter what. Behind one door is paradise. Behind the other a man eating lion. You want the door that leads to paradise. You are only allowed to ask one question. What question lets you know for sure what door paradise is behind?

*note - I did not say the door behind the one telling the truth is or is not paradise.

Ask one what the other one would say if he were asked which door led to paradise. Which ever door he tells you, choose the other door.

Which door leads to paradise? If you ask the liar he will answer tell you the opposite of the correct door (the truth teller would point to the correct door). If you asked the truth teller he would also point to the opposite door (since the liar would point the wrong door) Thus you should choose the opposite of the answer given.

If you were the liar, would you say this door is paradise? This way the guy telling the truth will answer as the liar. Enter that door if he says no!

you must ask, "if you were the other person, which one would you say is the right door?" They will tell u the answer then you must go through the OPPISITE door. the truth telling one would have to say the wrong one, because the lier would lie about the door. The lier would also say the wrong one, because he must lie about what the truth teller would have said
