my bf bought me something special from new york-one of a kind since i mentioned to him that i just visited new york that year and fell in love with place called Asprey's -its on 5th Avenue in NY. what that you can buy from new york can be one of a kind? and is it jewelry or accessories? i mean, what am i expecting when i am getting this gift? any ideas?

I wouldn't put too high of an expectation on the gift. It is possible that he bought you the gift of your dreams, but don't set yourself up to be disappointed. It could be a piece of jewelry, like you mentioned, or a piece of artwork...or it could be as simple as a t-shirt he had made for you or a key chain from the store you fell in love with. If you don't set your hopes too high, you'll be more able to appreciate your gift, no matter what it is. At the same time, if it is a truly fantastic gift, you'll be that much more thrilled.
