Recently my sister had my digital camera with out its case in a bag with her keys. The key put a pretty good scratch into my camera screen. Is there anything I can do to cover it up? Any kind of scrath sealer?

There is a product specifically made for this called "Displex." Search on Google for it.

I have used it successfully on my PDA screen, cell phone screen, and yes, camera screen. It requires some patience but removes all but the deepest gouges.

This is a tricky job best left to someone that knows what he's doing. He (or she) can use a solvent to make the scratch 'melt'. You would still be able to see the mark but it would not be obvious.

Again: NOT recommended you try yourself.

Alternately you could use power glue or some other acetate product to fill the gap. Also not for the faint of heart.

Your best option would be to ask a camera repair shop etc...they could let you know what could be done to repair or replace it (if thats possibe) because you could do more harm to it if you don't know what you are doing.
You know...I would never, ever trust ANYONE with my digital camera. My motto is...if you need one so bad, then buy your own! ;-)

I can't vouch for this personally, but apparantly Brasso fixes scratches on iPods, CDs and other shiny plastic surfaces.

Personally, I would take my camera to a camera shop and see if they can either fix it or suggest how you can do it yourself.

Apply lens cleaner and use cotton to wipe softly or use distilled water
