The current Holy War on terror, Christianity vs Islam, West vs East, Axis of Good vs Axis of Evil, call it whatever you wish. Regardless of which side you are on, there are soldiers of religion murdering innocent men, women, and children.
Both sides see the other side as evil. Both sides blame the other side for all the problems. Both sides send someone’s child to do battle in the name of “God” or in the name of “Allah”. Both sides kill and murder.
Christianity and Islam like to kill their fellow human beings.

The commandment is "thou shalt not murder".
The death of an innocent.
War is a different thing entirely. Defending your family against danger ( or did you forget the thousands of people killed 9-11) Keeping the enemy defeated to keep them from mounting an attack on you...
Ask Bin Laden face to face what you are curious about, or rather, tell him how wrong he is... Then come back ( if your not dead) and have this conversation again...
Would you be proud of your daughter if she destroyed a human life, for the right of choice.. Many more deaths can be attributed to that, than all religious wars combined.
Our how about the devastation pornography has done under freedom of speech.
When you point fingers 4 more point back at you.. Quit being so sanctimonious and get your own life in order.

War Who said war was ever smart but As far as Fighting for the cause of Allah > God does not like a coward in this life it does not always take your life to stand strong in what you believe Suicide is a sin and Hell awaits for those who do so. But Let me ask you these if you were denied access to a area because of you faith, Blown up and kicked out of you homes because of what you believe are what you wear. and you only had rocks and sticks and stones to fight against a army that supports them 100% and give them weapons to kill there neighbors.. what would you do? let them come in to your home rape and kill your kids and destroy your family are will you stand and fight. Islam does not send kids to kill they defend there country as i hope you will defend yours, there are some crazy Muslims out there but some are not and they fighting cuz they have no damn choice. you know nothing past only what you see on T.v you do not see the world and what people have to fight and what right they have. do you think blacks in the 1960 and beyond did not have to fight, the kids fought to help there community while there fathers and mothers hung on tree and they had to defend what was there right to live and be equal . so please You have the wrong definition of terror there many terriost out there they come in many forms American. Arab, Atheist, Christian, Muslim, Black White what ever!!!

that is pretty simplistic summary of the world
maybe we shouldn't fight them at all, and let them blow up more of our country, maybe do chemical or biological warfare which would kill thousands and thousands of Americans by poisoning or viral illness.
Christians are not proud of the lives lost in war. Radically misguided Muslim young people are proud of each other for killing because they have warped the teachings of the Koran to believe killing "infidels" leads to special recognition in the after life. I think their parents know better.
you sound like you are really caring about the situation in the world, but i think you should do a bit more research.

there's just a creator of the universe.
everything else is open to conjecture.
jesus buddha vishnu jehovah and allah/mohammed are not god
they are demgogues.
if we closed their temples dedicated to our subservience, we would find our true selves as private intelligent beings. our wars would largely end and we could own our future. until we remove the shackles of religion and these demogogues from our planet we are as nothing but sheep (just like the 'bible' makes clear)
we will not advance or improve.
this is not conjecture and I am not a hater.
I am telling you that these "beings" are not your creator. they have no power over you.
you are free to deal with your existence as you choose. no one is going to judge after you die. wake up! your soul's evolution is a matter between you and the universe/creator not some demogogue that claims to have the keys to your salvation. this planet would benefit more from education and economic parity then any damn "there'll be a better tomorrow when I die" religion will ever cough up.

This question is moral in nature. It implies that being that there is a God if someone killed in their name would you be proud. Well this depends on why the person was killing in the first place. If they killed in the name of God for an irrational reason such as another person refused to be converted, then no I wouldn't be proud. However if they killed someone who deserved to die in the name of God then I would be proud of them. Belief in God is central to all of our beliefs. Therefore anyone who would kill another would have to take into account their beliefs and God per that being a central part of their beliefs.

This not true. Not every soldiers is religious and you don't have proof to back up that false claim. Don't allow Satan to use you because he brings forth destruction and death because of sin in your in life and your families. I suggest you stop with the false lies before it's too late. It's sad that you have a sick fixation on religion and blame every one but yourself for the attacks on your life.

I don't think that they like to kill, I think that they feel like they have no choice. They are trying to save their God's land. Each side believes that a particular piece of land belongs to them. The fight in the mid-east also brings Judaism into the mix. I don't think any of them are evil.

Not really, because the Bible says that killing is wrong. In fact, "thou shalt not kill" is one of the ten commandments. So, no, I wouldn't be happy if my kids were killing other people.
