Every child, boy or girl start puberty at a different age and progresses through it at a different rate.
For some it can start as early as grade 4. There's absolutely nothing to be concerned about.
Just make sure they take their shower everyday and start buying them some deoderant. It will help with the stinkiness. =)

Ya with my older boy, he was nine when he started with b.o ,my other sons did too. I was told that it could be what I was feeding them too. Some spices or onions & especially garlic if I cooked with this . Their odor was bad. They showered daily & I got them using deodorant too. Yes the hair does start growing on the legs more coarser but with the 8 yr old that is a bit young. I have 6 bros & they told me that their hair grew in thier armpits @ 14 but their voices began changing @ 11 along with noticable hair arm & legs @ 10yrs. or @ least it was more darker.
I would only worry if you can't find a product to help masque the smell.

I don't know, I know some 25 year old boys who still haven't hit puberty...
But yes, as someone before me said, it is different for every guy. it generally is really noticable though as soon as the voices start cracking... stinkiness doesn't mean anything, my 6 year old nephew is a very stinky kid. He bathes, just sweats a lot. And he's not hitting puberty (I hope!)

I have a 10 year old son and the stinks started a year and a half ago. He has been using the men's Axe soap and pit stick since. Attitude and voice have started to change too! Timing is different for each child, just take it one step at a time. Good Luck

My daughter had her first little "boyfriend" at 14. They were allowed to flow to the flicks (with different childrens or with a figure) and carry fingers interior of very depending dates. maximum folk placed a good commencing age at about the 14-16 determination; this is as a lot as you, you realize brilliant. i'm not particular what you advise through a "very youthful age". in my view, i'd not be comfortable with serious "boyfriend" relationships formerly the kids. maximum folk misunderstood your question, through how, because maximum folk have very short interest spans and make up their ideas on an answer after the first sentence or 2.

I have a 10 year old son and he started puberty when he wasn't much over 9 years old. And I thought that was a little too early (He is my baby, after all) :) But it's true, the age can vary quite a bit.
And I hope you don't mind, but to be blunt, when the testicles start to enlarge that is definitely a sign of the onset of puberty.

It depends on the boy. They seem to be hitting it earlier and earlier. My son will be 9 in October and I truly believe he is heading down that road. He uses deodorant because he can get a little foul smelling playing all day, his leg hair got thicker what seems like overnight, he has grown a couple of inches over the summer, and he can be emotional, like he has PMS. Talk with your doctor. Good luck!! :)
