by concentrating, I have the ability to lift objects from a distance. I can even cause myself to levitate through intense concentration. On the surface, these powers seem great, but my only concern is the general belief that such things fall under the category of witchcraft and are not pure. Should I turn away from these powers, or explore them more? I'd be especially interested in your advice if you yourself have any powers similar to these or know someone that does.

Not only are your powers not evil, they're worth a million bucks!

If you truly have the ability of telekenesis it is a rare and powerful gift. However psychic abilites have nothing to do with witchcraft. If you have this gift use it so you can learn to control it. Eventually you may be able to help others with this gift.
In 1 Corinthians 12:1-13 is talks about the spirtiual gifts God bestowed upon man. Here is a website that has the passage to read, determine for yourself wether it is bad to have psychic abilities. Oh my goodness TURN AWAY!!! It is under the category of witchcraft and sorcery, is extremely powerful, and totally backed up by demonic forces. That may sound retarded and you may not believe in God or demons, but if you're able to do that? You better start believing something! I've seen people with that kind of witchcraft, and they end up possessed in some cases, and you can see the real person behind the demons saying "get me outta here!" Alls I know is it's bad, and don't explore, it may seem cool on the outside, but secretly it's poison to your life. God bless!

The first thing you need to do is get yourself on television so they can showcase your abilities during scientific testing. One they have validated your talents, then the world will be what you make of it.
In other words. Be able to back up this claim & you won't have to worry much about being able to put a roof over your head or paying bills, or anything else for that matter.

Never deny your abilities, they are part of you...in truth, we all have the same abilities, for there is but one infinite Mind, and we are part of that Mind so completely, that It is everything that we are.
I will assume you are sincere, and actually can do these things; be sure you honestly study these things, knowing they are not "powers", but part of the One Power in which we share.
Your concern about general belief is of course valid. Be careful how you use your abilities, where you are, and with whom, if the desire to perform them comes to you. Learn as completely as you can, read widely, and study the power of mind. Above all, do not be afraid, but be dilligent in your respect, not only for your abilities, and your judicious use of them, but for the beliefs and attitudes of others. There is part of you that knows what these things are; contact that part of you through meditation and prayer.

You know the ability in and of itself is a neutral thing, it's something you'll find good (I'm thinking of Elisha making an ax float) and bad powers (witchcraft) in the world able to do.
Pay close attention to your feelings here, do you feel calm, peaceful, and good inside? Or do you feel a little scared, or confused. You'll probably find your answer easily that way.

any ability can be good or bad, it you use it to do illegal or morally wrong things its bad, but just to explore and learn from them are not, you should look into learning to focus them so you don't accidentally cause a problem some day

if you obtained the powers through natural circumstances, they are a gift from god and should be celebrated and used for good purposes...I sometimes have dreams that predict the future, i can read minds, and i can astrally project myself to other realms and dimensions...all these things are natural and gifts from god....use your powers wisely.
