I have seen that some(not all) Christians are somewhat uncomfortable with the idea of someone who practices, especially if they find out that you do. I just wonder...why such fear? There people(some) from Wicca to Satanism that can be some of the nicest people you can meet.-----Its just a question....an opinion..please try not to get too mad at me for this!!!----

One reason is because Christian Theology teaches there are two spiritual forces at work in the universe, namely, the genuine (God) and thw counterfiet (Devil). It's only reasonable to assume they would shun something they consider contrary to their religion.
Even people who aren't religious usually avoid occultists. I knew an agnostic who got scared of a Wiccan girl he worked with. Common sense tells most people that when someone thinks they have magic powers, they're crazy, and thus, to be avoided. It isn't just Christians. This is because people who practice the occult are often times nut cases. I know when I was into the occult, even I thought most other occultists were weird!

A Christian has no fear of the occult. I am concerned about those who dabble in it, because it is the realm of satan. There are only two sources of power in the universe: God and satan. If you are not serving God and are fooling around with spiritism, whether you know it or not or believe it or not, you're in satan's realm of influence.

I'm not mad, dear....just concerned. Too many people think it's harmless and just fun; it's neither.

You're so right. I don't have an answer, but I can say that I truly feel that this ridiculous fear is what pushes so many of us in that direction.

Which isn't a bad thing, come to think of it.....

The only one the Bible says to fear is God=the One who has the power to appoint life or death(fear as in reverence).

Because the bible forbids it... The power from this force emanates from a realm not of God..
