Computer software....?

Question

I'm looking to perhaps change jobs....most of the office jobs that I'm qualified for require Quickbooks, Peachtree, Excel, etc. I do have computer experience, but my current employer does not use these programs. Any suggestions on how I can learn these programs for little or no money?

All three programs are easy enough to use and learn. Going to Barnes & Noble or Borders is probably the best way to go. In the computer section there are tons of books ranging from begginners to novices, you should have no problem finding what you need. If I were you, I'd skip the "Dummies..." collection and move into a more advanced book. If your trying to get a new job, simply opening, saving, and closing a file (which all those Dummy books really teach), isn't going to help much. Spend an extra $10-$20 and get a book that will actually teach you how to use the program.
